The     Elements

The Four Elements; Water, Air, Earth, and Fire are symbolic of the basic nature of all things in our reality. The elements represent the most fundamental forms of physical matter. Their root can be found in the word Elementary meaning the basic aspect of a subject or thing. 

 

The qualities of the elements describe our different temperaments. The Four Elements also indicate the four stages of life; Childhood, Adolescence, Adulthood, Old Age.

Water

Water is the source of all life and represents birth and newness. Water takes the shape of wherever it is held, and thus relates to our intuition, emotions and relationships with others.

 Air

The element of Air is responsible for our atmosphere; its reach is without bounds. The charge present in the Air we breathe animates our body; It represents curiosity, knowledge and communications.

Earth

Earth is the element of life and the physical world; it provides us food, shelter, and a solid foundation to walk on. Earth is indicative of the material world, stability and the values we stand on.

 Fire

Fire is arguably the most captivating of the elements. The multi-colored flames dancing to their own mystical beat. Often dominating whatever it comes in contact with; fire represents power, vitality, and ambition. Fire also represents initiation, the discovery of fire advanced mankind to a new stage of development.
